All authors are required to make use of electronic presentations. The time allocated for each presentation is 15' + 5' for questions (except for the Special Track on Image reconstruction, where the time is 12' + 3' for questions). You can prepare your presentation either in PowerPoint format (PPTX) or PDF. The recommended presentation aspect ratio is 16:9. Instructions on how to upload the presentation material are below. Please upload your presentation at least one day before the beginning of your assigned session. You'll be able to update the file until one hour before the beginning of the session.
Poster presenters are requested to provide:
We kindly ask all the presenters to make sure the three file names start with "poster_", "summary_" and "picture_", respectively.
Posters will be displayed only in electronic form through a dedicated 50-inch screen in portrait orientation. Traditional printed versions will not be accepted. The useful screen area is 61.6 cm (wide) x 109.5 cm (tall) with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (aka 2k). The suggested size of the poster is that of the SO 216 A1 standard: 59.4 cm x 84.1 cm, with an aspect ratio of 1:1.416. Due to the shape of the screen, an aspect ratio up to 1:1.5 can be effectively exploited, while less oblong ratios are discouraged because they are sub-optimal in terms of screen occupancy.
The electronic version of the poster will be converted to a raster image for display on the conference screens. Please avoid using exceedingly small graphical elements of any type and/or low-resolution plots and images. As a final check before submission, you can convert your poster into a 1080 x 1529 pixels raster image such as PNG, JPEG, or TIFF format and verify that it is displayed correctly on your computer screen.
A dedicated station will be available on-site to show the poster program at a glance for the entire duration of the conference. Please provide the requested material by May 18th.
The close-up picture of the presenter will be included in the graphical display by the system, and there is no need for the authors to insert it into the layout of the poster manually. The same applies to any additional information related to the conference.
To upload your material, please use the pencil button on the right of your contribution title in the timetable and select "Material editor", then "Upload files" and follow the instructions on screen. You'll be able to select if to make it public or not (i.e., protected) by using the "Protected" switch.
